Supporting sustainability with building information systems

Secure energy supply today requires continuous monitoring to prevent outages or future failures. One way to achieve this is through building information systems — such as KNX — capable of complex data logging and intervention, whether automated or human-initiated. The dynamically growing world economy is creating a need for building information systems capable of independent decision-making. These systems make it possible to save part of the energy consumed through energy management.
