EDUCATION
For MSc Students
The High Voltage Technology and Equipment Group takes part in teaching the courses that appear in the main specialization and in organizing laboratory practicals. Beyond this, our group also teaches the Building Electrification minor specialization. Within the minor specialization, we aim to convey the fundamentals of modern building electrification design, which include knowledge of modern lighting technology, knowledge related to smart building electrification solutions, and knowledge related to the now almost entirely computer-based design process and the tools used in it. Our goal is to train engineers who, equipped with a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge, can easily find employment in the related field of industry. Our instructors are professionals recognized both nationally and internationally in the field, and our accredited laboratory represents the highest standard. During the programme, students have the opportunity to get to know various companies and try out their equipment, and, within the framework of independent lab work and thesis projects, to join project work, gaining valuable experience in the process. We recommend the specialization primarily to engineering students who are curious about how a building's internal electrical network is created, from design to execution, what possibilities exist for automating equipment, and what tools can be used to create a modern, smart building.
