We are proud to share that the Department of Electric Power Engineering (VET), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) has been awarded the prestigious MEE Partner Award 2025 by the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association.

This recognition highlights the department’s outstanding contributions in research, education, and industry collaboration – from renewable integration and energy efficiency to smart grid projects and international partnerships. It is also a strong acknowledgement of our role in training the next generation of power engineers and strengthening professional networks.
